Boutique de Montres de Luxe MATY (Weekend Reflections # 415)

Paris, France

A reflection in the window of  MATY, a watch and jewelry store. This picture is 100% reflection plus there are lights reflected on the wet road so maybe it should be considered 110% reflection. :-)

I know it's sometimes hard to tell reflections from non reflections without some perspective or clues. In this case the clues are the words on the street signs and on the side of the opera house.

I'm praying for those affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

Happy Reflecting!

  2. The reflection in the window looks so clearly that I thought this is a photo of reflection on the wet road. Yes, the letters of the sign tells the mirror reflection.
BTW, I feel awkward as I failed to crop one of my reflection photos to make a thumbnail.

  8. Your clues remind me on inspector Clouseau, haha. Even more than whether it's a reflection, it is that your captures are always intriguing, that keeps me coming back! Have a great weekend, James!

  9. As usual I looked at your image before reading the caption, as I like to interpret the reflection. I gave up as I did not even see the ghost of something going on behind the window. Thanks for your kind thoughts as we are among those who evacuated their south Florida homes. We wanted to go to someplace high and dry, so we flew to Albuquerque, New Mexico! The latest advisory shifts the eye from directly over our home to a point about 80 miles to the west.A measure of relief, but now so many more homes are threatened.
